AndroVIVE™ ingredient details

Tongkat Ali

Also known as Malaysian ginseng, Eurycoma Longifolia is native to Southeast Asia, where traditional medicine commonly uses it to improve sexual function, stamina, and athletic performance. It's also used as an aphrodisiac.

Tongkat Ali has a growing body of clinical research behind it. It's been shown in both mice and humans to increase the levels of testosterone in the body, deliver anti-aging benefits, help with weight loss, and reduce cortisol levels.

 Citrus polymethoxylated flavones (PMF)
Polymethoxylated flavones (PMF) are more bioactive than other flavonoids due to their special structure. Derived from citrus fruits such as tangerine and orange, Citrus PMFs are naturally highly methoxylated, resulting in a more biologically active molecule.
PMFs have powerful antioxidant properties, and have been actively studied for their anti-inflammatory effects.
An antioxidant flavonoid derived from lemon, Eriocitrin has significant anti-inflammatory properties, and works synergistically with Tongkat Ali to enhance its effects.

Recommend AndroVIVE™ through your virtual dispensary website. Don't forget, you can use the Product Picks option to list it as a Recommended Product on the front page of your website.

Do Your Patients Regularly Take Supplements?

A survey from the Council of Responsible Nutrition (the 2014 CRN Consumer Survey on Dietary Supplements) revealed that not do a very high percentage of U.S. adults take dietary supplements, but they have a high degree of confidence in them.

The survey found that of the 68% of dietary supplement users, over 50% report taking them regularly. A somewhat surprising 83% indicated an overall confidence in effectiveness of the supplements they take. Vitamins and minerals remain the most popular category.

The 2014 survey revealed that the most trusted resource for dietary supplement consumers seeking information and recommendations was healthcare professionals. We expect that as CRN continues to release data about the new study, that trend will continue to be strong.

The majority of your patients are taking dietary supplements. Are you educating yourself on the newest studies and most efficacious treatment protocols? With so many consumers looking to you as their healthcare practitioner for recommendations on what to take, perhaps it's time you look into your own virtual dispensary, if you haven't already. Check out what can do for your practice.

Do You Blog?

We know. You're busy. It's hard to sit down and write up a blog post. And what are you supposed to write about anyway? Besides, do your patients really even care?

The answer to the last question is a resounding YES. 85% of internet users use the internet to research health related questions. As their doctor, shouldn't they be visiting you first?

The fact is your patients are more likely to stay your patients if you're keeping in touch, and that doesn't just mean when they're sick, or you send them a bill. In addition to sending birthday and holiday cards and reminders about annual checkups, a blog can give them timely and important information about your clinic, current health issues and concerns, articles on specific conditions and treatments, and much more. The more your patients feel that you value them, the more likely they are to stick with you as their doctor. People do business with other people that they trust. It's human nature. And there's no better way to gain a position as a trusted resource than to blog.

How often you blog isn't set something set in stone. Some practitioners love it, and do it more often than others, but you should try to do at least one post every week. It doesn't take long to write 500 -700 words, particularly on a topic that you know well.

Over time, your blog will become a repository of high-quality patient education, where you can refer patients for more information about their condition and treatment protocols. It also builds your visibility on search engines and in social media, leading to more new patients as they find your blog online or are referred by friends.

A blog also makes your practice more accessible, more human. Patients feel as though they know you, and the blog provides a connection that encourages an ongoing relationship. It humanizes you and makes you and your staff more than just white coats and stethoscopes.
Blogging is the cornerstone of any marketing strategy in the Internet Age. And don't forget, we've made it even easier for you by adding a blog to your PureRXO virtual dispensary. Simply visit your dashboard, and click on My Blog to add content directly to your site. No setting up another website, no new software to learn. So what are you waiting for?
