Hi and welcome to our online health store! I'm Ash, Founder of Optimized Wellness, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, Certified Health Coach and Holistic Nutritionist specializing in Nutrigenomics.

I'm very passionate about helping others overcome all kinds of illness by treating the real root causes, instead of just suppressing symptoms or managing disease, to actually return to optimal health. I've personally suffered and overcome multiple, severe, so called "incurable" (by conventional medicine) Autoimmune diseases (see list below) thanks to Naturopathic and Functional Medicine protocols that addressed the root causes to resolve the issue permanently. This is not just a "remission" or temporary relief of symptoms, but a complete resolution. I initially went down the conventional path of drugs and symptom suppression first and it not only failed to cure me, but had harmful side effects that made things worse, forcing me to search for answers elsewhere.

My personal list of health issues overcome includes: full body severe plaque psoriasis, Ulcerative Colitis, CFS, Hashimotos/Hypothyroid and PCOS, as well as Lyme and chronic viral infections, arthritis, anxiety, acne, brain fog, insulin resistance/pre-diabetes/weight gain issues and multiple complex genetic conditions. I went from wheelchair bound and bedridden, swollen in pain and chronically fatigued, unable to walk or work and covered in psoriasis plaques to overcoming it all and thriving! Throughout my suffering and journey to get well, I became incredibly compassionate towards anyone suffering and eager to share what I learned to help others get well, like I did. I went back to school to get officially trained in the modalities that helped me heal and, after receiving my credentials, I launched Optimized Wellness.
