Supplementing Eye Health with Critical Nutrients part 1
Our eyes are our connection to the world around us.  Without good eyesight, we struggle to perform even the simplest of tasks.

The human eye needs certain specific nutrients in order to function properly, and it is worth investing in the best and most effective nutritional products that contain these critical nutrients.  If there is one part of your body you want the best nutrients for, then your eyes would qualify as a top choice.

The purpose of this Blog Post is to give you some basic information about these nutrients, and to suggest the highest quality products that would effectively meet your eye-nutrient needs.

Whatever I suggest here, I have had professional and personal experience in using for successfully "correcting" eye health concerns, and you should also experience some excellent results should you use them as well.  Bear in mind that because something is useful for the eye, it doesn't necessarily make it exclusively an "eye nutrient" the nutrients we are discussing are relatively ubiquitous for human health, and you can find great improvement to your overall health by incorporating products like these to help support your nutrient needs.

All good nutritional protocols need a foundation of basic nutrients, and our foundation is
VisionPro Nutrients.  This is a multivitamin that contains a variety of nutrients needed for basic human metabolic function, while containing additional nutrients needed for proper eye health.  Lutein, Zeaxanthin, and Astaxanthin are some of the carotenoids in this multivitamin.  Carotenoids are converted to Vitamin A, and are critical to the functionality of the eyes and the healing of eye tissue.  There are two types of this product:  with zinc and without zinc.  Some people with acute eye issues react poorly to supplementing zinc, and they should choose the zinc-free version, while most everyone else should choose the product with zinc.

Omega 3 fatty acids, such as DHA and EPA, are absolutely critical to eye health.  Many eye issues are connected to local deficiency of Omega 3 fatty acids, particularly DHA.  Fatty acids are part of natural tear production and lubricate eye tissue, preventing it from drying up.  Dry eyes and eye tissue can lead to damaged eyesight, and many of us do not realize that we have dry eyes until it is too late.  The fatty acid DHA is found in large amounts in the eyes (as well as the brain, liver, and other organ tissue), and lower levels of eye DHA are linked to retina problems.  Another fatty acid called GLA, and Omega 6, is very important because it converts directly to antiinflammatory chemical mediators and supports reducing overall eye inflammation.  The acclaimed Vision Pro EPA/DHA/GLA fatty acid supplement contains physiological dosing of these three important fatty acids, in the highly bioavailable Triglyceride form, and is specifically formulated for the health and healing of the eyes.  This is the preferred Omega 3 supplement for prevention and healing of eye afflictions.

The last two nutrients we will discuss should be included in all nutritional protocols for many reasons we will not fully get into here.  These two nutrients are essential:  Magnesium and Vitamin C.  Humans are predisposed to deficiencies in both of these nutrients, so we need to add them to this basic eye protocol.
